There is just one important addition to this book. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission certificate records that Shakespeare died opposite Marine Gate, a block of flats in the East of Brighton. So, it would seem, he was not killed while walking along the cliff, but instead, was hit while outdoor during a raid on the the city itself.
